Claire Boccon-Gibod Senior Graphic Designer Brussels Crisis Group Role Claire joined Crisis Group in December 2019. She is responsible for creating branded visual content and advocacy products for Crisis Group's digital channels and print materials. She also leads the design of informative, story- and purpose-driven graphics, including maps, satellite imagery, qualitative and quantitative data visualisations. Professional Background Prior to joining Crisis Group, Claire worked on data visualisation, design and communications on the Mediterranean refugee situation, for UNHCR in Geneva and for a non-governmental organisation in Greece. She holds an undergraduate degree in Politics with English literature from the University of Newcastle (UK) and a joint MA in International Humanitarian Action (NOHA) from the University of Uppsala (Sweden) and Groningen University (Netherlands). Specialising in conflict analysis and disaster risk reduction, she also has training in GIS mapping from Gadjah Mada University (Indonesia).
