The Israeli military reported that it had killed a senior member of Jamaa al-Islamiya whom it said had “led and advanced numerous terror attacks from Lebanese territory against Israel in [Lebanon’s] eastern region… In cooperation with the Lebanon branch of the Hamas terrorist organisation”. Lebanese sources reported that Israeli strikes killed a Hizbollah member and four civilians. The IDF also confirmed around 75 launches toward Israeli territory in continued cross-border exchanges, as well as targeting a Hizbollah launcher.
