Lisa Musiol Head of EU Affairs Brussels Crisis Group Role As head of EU Affairs, Lisa manages Crisis Group’s relations with the European Union and leads the organisation's European advocacy, liaising with EU and member state policymakers in Brussels and EU capitals. She closely follows developments in EU foreign policy and analyses the implications for the conflicts and crises covered by Crisis Group. She works with Crisis Group staff across regional and thematic programs to formulate and advocate for EU policies that put conflict prevention, mitigation and resolution at their core. Professional Background Lisa has more than eight years of professional experience in EU-focused research and advocacy. She has worked for six years as Crisis Group's senior EU Research and Advocacy analyst researching EU foreign and security policy and working on European early warning, conflict prevention and crisis management efforts. Prior to that, Lisa worked with Human Rights Watch in Brussels, the EU Delegation in Tunisia and the Open Society European Policy Institute in Brussels. Lisa holds a Master’s Degree in Conflict and Development Studies from Sciences Po Lille and the University of Münster.
