Hizbollah rocket fire into northern Israel killed one soldier and wounded several others; the IDF conducted “an extensive wave of attacks” against Hizbollah targets in southern Lebanon. Lebanese sources reported several civilian and Hizbollah casualties. Meanwhile, the IDF chief of staff affirmed that “we are not finishing this without returning the residents to… all the communities in the north, with a very high level of security”, adding: “We are now focused on being ready for war in the north. If it does not end in war, it will not end with any compromise to the achievements”.
